Where have you been?

I am guessing that is a question that loyal readers have been asking. Well, I have been here in Jocotepec, Jalisco, Mexico and doing well, but I cannot say the same for my borrowed computer. It has once again been having some serious keyboard issues.

But, at least for now, it is fine again and tomorrow my new computer arrives via my friend Ric from the US! [It is my theory, as well as my friend Kathi’s, that this computer somehow knows it is about to be replaced and is therefore making itself more appealing. Not that we anthropomorphize things much!]

At any rate, I am happy to have the return of the keyboard [at least temporarily] and will try to get out some posts while Ric is here.  It will be his first time visiting Jocotepec, although he is very conversant with Mexico.  I think I might just hand him my digital camera and let him take photos of the things that strike a chord with him.

In the meantime, I will try to finish some posts that I started but was unable to finish.

About Barbara

in april of 2008, i moved from the united states to mexico. during my working days, i held lots and lots of jobs....almost all chosen because they were fun or interesting instead of how much they paid. when i started thinking about retirement (in my 40s), i realized that i would never be able to retire to a country where english was the native language. and although i had traveled to every state in the US -- and lived in lots of them -- i had never been outside the country with the exception of canada and mexico. and since you now know that i could never afford to retire in canada (even to the french-speaking area), mexico won by default.

  1. Kathi says:

We all missed you. The nerve of that wayward keyboard to interrupt the bloggishness of Barb.
In the meantime all sorts of wonderful things have happened…..and Barb will tell you all about them in due time.
